2026 Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival
The Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival is a free, annual five-day celebration honoring the shrimping and petroleum industries; two pillars of Morgan City’s economy and culture. Held each Labor Day Weekend, the festival features live music, carnival rides, arts & crafts, food vendors, children’s activities, parades, traditional ceremonies like the Blessing of the Fleet, and spectacular fireworks over the river.
