The Morgan City Biddy Basketball League is sanctioned by Biddy Basketball, the national youth basketball organization. This sanctioning ensures the league follows established standards for age divisions, rules, and player development, and it allows eligible teams to participate in official Biddy Basketball All-Star tournaments. Through this affiliation, players have the opportunity to compete beyond regular league play, gain valuable tournament experience, and represent Morgan City at the district, state, and regional levels.

Parent & Spectator Expectations
Parents play an important role in the success of the Biddy Basketball Program and are expected to support its goals at all times. The following rules apply to all parents and spectators:
Unsportsmanlike or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
The Biddy Basketball Committee administers all league functions. Concerns must be addressed directly to the Committee—subversive or disruptive behavior will not be allowed.
Derogatory or abusive language or actions toward league supervisors, referees, or coaches are strictly prohibited.
Fan enthusiasm is encouraged; however, behavior that embarrasses or ridicules opposing teams will result in removal from the gym.
Violations of these rules will result in penalties determined by the Committee and may include removal of parents and/or players from Recreation Department activities.
Players may be removed from the program as a result of rule violations by their parents.
The Biddy Basketball Committee hopes these rules will rarely need to be enforced, but they are essential to ensuring a positive and rewarding experience for all participants. Families who feel they cannot comply with these expectations are encouraged to consider other recreational opportunities.
